ACOG Scope

Weapons

The ACOG Scope is a weapon attachment commonly found on long guns in GoldenEye 007 and GoldenEye 007: Reloaded.

Background[edit | edit source]

It provides the weapon with a low-magnification tube reflex optic with a crosshair, allowing for accurate aiming at longer ranges while only mildly compromising the ability to engage targets at close range. The Wii version uses an all-black Precision Plex reticle with (useless) bullet drop indicators while Reloaded used a simpler Plex reticle with a red illuminated centre. As with Silencers, ACOG scopes are more common in Reloaded's campaign than in the Wii version's.

It should not be confused with the unique Reflex Sight used by the Sigmus 9 and Sigmus in the Wii version, which, while a tube reflex sight, is not an ACOG scope and is not labelled as one.
