USP45
The Hawksman M5A (USP45) is a pistol created in 1993 by the West-German company Heckler & Koch.
Overview[]
This is a great pistol, much better than the P99 and Torka, which are both weak. In campaign, picking up pistols is pointless because you already have your trusty P99 w/ silencer. However, on the Dubai level, there is a silenced Hawksman that is well worth picking up. The weapon is located in the side hallway as soon as you leave Sky Briggs' company. It helps greatly, because of the higher rate of fire helps by taking down enemies quicker that the P99. In 007 and 007 Classic modes, the silenced Hawksman allows you to complete the objective of rescuing the hostages by spraying quicker in the breach. It's a highly reccomended pick-up in the Carrier mission. The Hawksman can also be found in the Russian Military Archives level in Goldeneye Reloaded.
Multiplayer[]
In multiplayer, the Hawksman is the best early unlock pistol, as it is unlocked at level 21. The 28.72% damage , along with the high rate-of-fire, make it the best non-automatic pistol. I reccomend it highly for sniper classes, because it's a good weapon when traveling distances where your sniper rifle would not have the advantage (like the hallways in Jungle or the tunnel beneath the train in Station.) The pistol is also well-used in medium range firefights if you run out of ammo on your primary weapon. I would highly reccomend this sidearm if you haven't unlocked the automatic-fire handgun (Kunara V), or the heavy hitting magnum revolver (Wolfe .44).
