The Kallos-TT9 is a mid-level assault rifle featured in the 2010 GoldenEye 007 and GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. The in-game weapon is modelled after an FN SCAR-L, a 5.56mm assault rifle created in 2004 by the Belgian company FN Herstal.

Overview[edit | edit source]

While not excelling in any particular area, the TT9 performs admirably in most situations, even more so, considering ammunition is as plentiful as it is.

The TT9 is best used at short to medium range while using its full-automatic setting. Used as such it is superior to weapons such as the AK-47 and Sigmus 9. While its semi-automatic setting is sufficient at longer ranges, it is advisable to use a more accurate weapon, such as the Terralite III or a Sniper Rifle.

Single Player[edit | edit source]

The Kallos-TT9 is the standard assault rifle of the Janus group for the majority of of the game, and is present in most levels Janus soldiers appear in. The Kallos is also used by Zukovsky's bodyguards in Nightclub, implying that he has been smuggling these weapons to the Janus group. The weapon is faster firing and more accurate than the AK-47, and can be equipped with a greater range of accessories.

Multiplayer[edit | edit source]

The Kallos is unlocked at rank 11, and it's a major improvement to the AK-47, but it still lacks some good qualities. Hip fire isn't too bad and iron sights are useful. For more easier aiming, the reflex sight is a good choice, but the ACOG is not recommended, you should instead use it on other more accurate firearms. The laser is handy however it is not extremely beneficial. Perhaps the best pick for the TT9 is the silencer, as it will keep you off the radar and the inherently powerful shot will not be weakened to any great extent. The Grenade Launcher is acceptable, though

Notes[edit | edit source]

007 objective states the crates in the Nightclub's kitchen are "evidence of Zukovsky's arms deals;" these are Kallos-TT9s and Ivana Spec-Rs, both later used by Janus troops.
