Loudness to Guards is the likelihood of a stationary guard to begin running towards Bond's location after Bond opens fire with either a noisy weapon or after repeatedly and rapidly firing with a silenced weapon. The more shots fired in succession by the player, the more likely a guard in the vicinity is to investigate the source of the gunfire.
- Quiet weapons such as Throwing Knives or attacking guards while unarmed is either less likely or has no chance of causing guards to investigate.
- Silenced weapons like Silenced PP7 or Silenced D5K will have slightly more chance of causing guards to investigate, but if used correctly, will have very little chance of it.
- Loud weapons such as the KF7, the DD44 Dostovei or the Klobb are more likely to cause guards to investigate the noise. Gunfire from other guards may not cause guards to investigate.
Loudness And Guard Reappearing[]
Some stationary guards in various levels may have another guard reappear from their position (often with a different head) in place of themselves to run to Bond's location. These guards will continue to reappear either until no more gunfire is heard or if the first guard in that position is either killed or seen by Bond, causing no more reappearing guards to appear from their position (Sometimes, however, this may not be an issue and they will still continue to run there to investigate). Levels with good examples of this type of behavior include Bunker 2 and Archives.
