The Phantom is a powerful submachine gun found only in the mission Frigate. It is less accurate than the D5K but has greater damage and magazine capacity of 50 rounds. The power of this weapon is equal to that of the AR33, but it doesn't have the penetration and accuracy of said weapon, the fire rate is slightly slower, and has no zoom. It has the same firing sound as the KF7 Soviet assault rifle.

- During development this weapon was called the Spectre after its real-world counterpart. The name was presumably changed for legal reasons.
- The Phantom is one of the rarest weapons in the game, on-par with the Golden Gun, as it can only be found in one level, though the All Guns cheat allows it to be used in any mission.
- Spectre (although spelled SPECTRE) is also the name of the villainous organization headed by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, which acted as the main antagonist in several of the Bond films, most notably in the Connery era.
