Sniper Rifle

Sniper Rifle.png

The sniper rifle is fitted with a long-range telescopic sight and suppressor, and is unique in that its zoom range can be adjusted using the C Buttons when in aim mode. The weapon becomes increasingly hard to aim the greater the distance between Bond and his target, like in real life. The sniper rifle is intended to be used for eliminating targets in the distance, meaning it is mostly limited to stages with large outdoor areas like Dam and Surface 1. The weapon can, however, be used effectively at medium and short range: Its damage and firing rate is comparable to the PP7 and DD44, but neither of those has any zoom range at all. Once the sniper rifle is in Bond's possession, he will hit enemies with its stock when unarmed.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • This weapon is not affected by the auto-aim function.
  • On the right side of the weapon, a long cylindrical tubular attachment is mounted towards the right of the sniper scope. This presumably is a range finder, however, this attachment serves no function in the game, whatsoever.
