Sniper Rifle is a weapon fitted with a long-range scope and an undetachable suppressor, and is unique from other weapons in that that its long zoom range can be adjusted using the up and down C Buttons when in Aim mode. The weapon becomes increasingly hard to aim the greater the distance between Bond and his target, simulating real life. The Sniper Rifle is intended to be used for eliminating targets in the distance, meaning it is recommended for stages with large outdoor areas like Dam and Surface. The weapon can, however, be used effectively at medium and short range. Its damage and firing rate is comparable to the Silenced PP7. Anytime the Sniper Rifle is in possession, Unarmed will be replaced with its stock.

- Auto-aim does not work with this weapon.
- On the right side of the weapon, a long cylindrical tubular attachment is mounted towards the right of the sniper scope. This presumably is a range finder, however, this attachment serves no function in the game, whatsoever.
- The Sniper Rifle can be dual wielded, though this requires use of cheats.
- This weapon shares the same firing sound as the Silenced PP7 and Silenced D5K.
- The model used for the Sniper Rifle in the XBLA release is drastically different from the model used in the N64 release. The XBLA model resembles a much older bolt-action rifle, whereas the N64 version looks much more modern and military, with a vertical pistol grip and seemingly adjustable stock. The XBLA also lacks the silencer and rangefinder seen on the N64 version.
