It's tough to say where the idea of the RC-P90's fictional name being based on this came from. It does fit surprisingly well, and doesn't seem like the thing your average GE fan would think up on their own. That said, I have read it on several GE sites, and I don't think anyone from the development team has ever confirmed it.
For what it's worth, the only known real-world name string for it (FNP90) lacks the hyphen that the RC-P90 has. Dragonsbrethren 12:34, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Just asking, I had never heard it before. That's why I didn't remove it. You can remove the question there if you wish. SmokeSound off! 05:00, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I don't mind having the question there (although I see you've removed it already), but I don't think it'll ever get answered. I would definitely like to know the origin of the claim; maybe it did come directly from someone involved, or maybe someone just happened to notice that the names synced up nicely? In the end, it's a nice piece or trivia, regardless of whether it's true or not. Dragonsbrethren 15:51, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
