The Toros AV-400 (SG 550 Sniper) is a mid-level sniper rifle created in 1986 by the Swiss company SIG. It is featured in GoldenEye 007 for Wii and GoldenEye 007: Reloaded.

Singleplayer

The Toros is only found in "Cradle" where it is found in a weapon cache before you go outside after defending Natalya. In the same level it is wielded by a sniper before the first brawl with Trevelyan.

Multiplayer

The Toros is the second Sniper Rifle unlocked at level 26. It is a clear improvement over the Pavlov ASR, but it has one disadvantage, it cannot make use of a silencer. A laser helps a lot with close range combat, and makes it much easier to hip-fire. The thermal scope is a better option though as it highlights enemies in white which is useful. The rate of fire on this gun (the highest for the snipers in fact) also makes it easier to pick up a kill if you miss on your first shot. Be careful, as this gun is tied for the lowest magazine capacity of any sniper rifle (5 rounds,) so make your shots count. It is also included in split-screen, however its lack of acessories, and the availability of a better Sniper Rifle (Silenced Walther WA2000) means that it is usually passed over.

Trivia

  • It has a unusable bipod atached to it similarly to the WA2000
